Help I have started itching after going to swimming pool steam and Sauna bath and Jacuzzi since last 15 days
My skin has also dried up while my head has small red sores and my acne has
also blossamed but l need to have this execise because l have artritis in
both my knees and my doctor has recomended it and my pain in the knees has
also gone down sharply. Please help to solve this problem as l started to
enjoy swimming after learning it in 15 days and l am 53 years old man

You either have an alergic reaction to Chlorine or ezema from
he dryness it causes.
You need to make sure after swiming in a public pool that you wash all
areas of the skin with soap & warm water to wash off the chorine & germs.
If you have broken skin or a rash before you swim the germs can enter ur
layers of skin & cause problems.
Some pools use more that recommended of chlorine. Many pools have kids working there & they think more is better instead of following the recommendations. You will know if there is too much as it will sting the eyes & the fumes can fill the room where you swim if indoors. You can smell it, taste it, & breathe it in & that is not good either. Talk to the manager at the pool if you think it is too high. Otherwise, you may have an alergy or dry skin. After you shower always put on a good strong lotion like ''Gold Bond'' all over ur body to seal in the moisture. And by the way 53 is not old, I know I am that age too. Good Luck
I think you may have a Proteus infection that is caused by
insufficient chlorine in the pool system. It could also be from too much
cholrine too. You might get a dermatologist to check you out.
Sounds like the pool you're using has a lot of chlorine. Most
public pools tend to have a high chlorine amount due to the number of
people using them. Is there another pool you can use?
