Men's Lockerroom Etiquette
l am 17yrs old. My family and l just joined a health club recently, where l
usually go work out alone during the week. The men is lockerroom has an
amazing sauna inside, but I am too uncomfortable to use it. Can someone
tell me what to wear inside? I've been reading articles andl hear people
go nude. Is it wrong for me to go nude because I am not 18? Can l go in a
bathing suit or it that weird? Should l go nude and wrap myself in a
towel? What is appropiate? How does it work and what do l need to know? Thanx
First of all, I commend ur grasp of written English -- it is
excellent! :-)
I am also glad to encounter someone so relatively young who is actually
concerned with decorum & manners -- trust me, they will serve you well in
life.
Since you are under 18, you should wear trunks or a bathing suit. And even when you turn 18, I recommend wrapping a towel around yourself -- not because I am some anti-nudity prude, but because you just never know who will have sat in ur spot before you, & in the warm & moist environs of a sauna, germs & bacteria do not die easily.
Go nude or the others will find you snobby.
Do not go nude. Either wear a swim trunk or wrap a towel around
you & keep it on in there.
Swim trunks would be more comfortable.
